"Dr Valerie Laux - Le Guyon is an Associate Professor in Physics and Head of the Sciences and Engineering Department at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Previously, she held a position of Associate professor at Université du Littoral Cote d’Opale – France. Her research interests lie broadly speaking in Material Science. More specifically her topics are related to liquid crystals and polymer-liquid crystals blends, and on nanoparticles applications.
In collaboration with Sorbonne Université, she has spearheaded the development and establishment of SUAD's experimental research laboratories in “Materials and Heritage sciences”, featuring the mobile lab, a unique set of devices mobile dedicated to heritage, and cutting-edge equipment, as the VSparticle, unique in the region, and that allows nanoparticles production and Nano printing. "
