High school students are invited to take part in a unique immersive experience at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, designed to blend academic excellence, career guidance personal growth, and international exposure. Over the course of the week, participants will engage in a balanced programme combining academic classes, sports activities, and guided learning experiences.
Each morning, students will participate in three hours of interactive academic classes inspired by the academic disciplines taught at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, with a special emphasis on sustainable development and artificial intelligence. Dedicated sessions on Orientation will provide practical guidance on preparing academic applications and exploring study options within the French higher education system. Participants will also have the opportunity to complete an observation internship within Sorbonne Abu Dhabi’s departments, offering valuable insight into university life and learning. These sessions are designed using an interactive methodology tailored to high school students, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and intellectual engagement.
Afternoons will be devoted to two and a half hours of sports activities supervised by qualified coaches. These sessions promote teamwork, perseverance, and overall well-being, ensuring a balanced experience that nurtures both mind and body.
At the end of the programme, each participant will receive an official Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Certificate, recognising their involvement and achievements. This certification adds significant value to university and serves as a meaningful highlight on any student’s CV.
Schedule
Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 AM): Academic sessions
Afternoon (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Sports and group activities
