High school students are invited to take part in a unique immersive experience at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, designed to blend academic excellence, career guidance personal growth, and international exposure.

Over the course of the week, participants will engage in a balanced programme combining masterclasses and interactive activities on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability, orientation sessions providing valuable academic and career guidance, and sports activities. The programme will also feature a special day dedicated to the Bridging Horizons Jean Monnet Chair Workshop – European Union Simulation, offering students an engaging and hands-on introduction to diplomacy and European affairs.

Each morning, students will take part in masterclasses inspired by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi’s academic disciplines, combined with contemporary themes, with a particular focus on sustainable development and artificial intelligence. The interactive activities will allow participants to apply the knowledge acquired in creative and practical ways.

Dedicated orientation sessions will provide concrete guidance on preparing academic applications and exploring study opportunities within the higher education system. Designed specifically for high school students, these sessions use an interactive and dynamic approach that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and intellectual engagement.

Afternoons will be devoted to sports sessions supervised by qualified coaches, promoting teamwork, perseverance, and overall well-being - ensuring a holistic experience that nurtures both mind and body.

Participants will also experience a full day dedicated to the Bridging Horizons Jean Monnet Chair Workshop – European Union Simulation, a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of diplomats and decision-makers and to experience international negotiation, cooperation, and leadership in action.

At the end of the programme, each participant will receive an official Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Certificate, recognizing their engagement and achievements. This certification will add meaningful value to future university applications and serve as a strong highlight on any student’s CV.

Schedule

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM : Arrival of students on campus

9:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Academic sessions and interactive activities 

Break : Lunch included 

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Sports sessions and group challenges
