Biographie
Zakiyya Adam is a transport researcher whose work bridges mobility, health, and urban sustainability. Her current research focuses on how the “X-Minute City” concept can be adapted to suburban and low-density European contexts through socially just and cycling-based urban development. She holds a PhD in Urban Science from the University of Warwick and has previously worked at the PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity. Her work combines social practice theory, spatial justice, and applied mixed methods to advance real-world mobility transitions.
