Biographie
Elisabetta Cherchi is an internationally recognized scholar in transport modelling and travel behaviour analysis. Her research focuses on understanding how individuals make mobility decisions, integrating discrete choice analysis, demand modelling, and data from innovative sources such as immersive virtual reality environments.
Before joining NYU Abu Dhabi, she was Professor of Transport at Newcastle University, and previously held positions at the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Cagliari. She is Chair of the Steering Committee of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART) and past Editor-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice.
