Biographie
Zaïneb Ben Lagha is Assistant Professor of Modern Arabic Literature and Deputy Director of the Centre for Oriental Studies (CEAO) at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris. She is currently Visiting Researcher at the French Research Centre of the Arabian Peninsula (CEFREPA) and Affiliated Researcher at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Her research focuses on Modern Arabic Literature and the writing of history, Figures of the marginal in contemporary Arabic literature and currently on Identities and alterities in contemporary novels from the Arabian Peninsula. She is the co-editor of Étrangeté de l’autre, singularité du moi. Les figures du marginal dans les littératures, Paris, Classiques Garnier, 2015 and Imaginaire et espace dans les mondes arabes et hébraïques, Paris, Presses Universitaires de France, 2023.
