Biographie
Aly Samy Ibrahim is a sustainability and sustainable finance professional in the banking sector, specializing in the integration of environmental and social considerations into financial strategy and decision-making.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, where he focused on global environmental policy, and a Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. His master’s dissertation presented a novel piece of research on the applicability and necessity of greenwashing laws in the UAE, contributing to the emerging discourse on sustainable regulation in the region.
Aly’s work sits at the intersection of sustainability, finance, and regulation — driving the advancement of responsible banking practices and the growth of sustainable finance in the UAE and beyond.
