Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD) and the University of Khorfakkan (UKF) formally exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on 7 October 2026 during the Third Annual University of Khorfakkan Library Forum.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between the two university libraries, creating opportunities for their academic communities to benefit from shared expertise, resources and scholarly engagement.
The collaboration will support:
- Reciprocal visits and access to selected library resources and services;
- Interlibrary lending and the exchange of academic materials;
- Professional knowledge-sharing between library teams; and
- Lectures, discussions and other scholarly activities involving academics, researchers and students from both institutions.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to discuss how the partnership could develop beyond resource sharing through academic initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
This MoU reflects the shared commitment of SUAD and UKF to advancing access to knowledge, strengthening institutional connections and creating meaningful opportunities for future academic and professional collaboration.
