Bio
Liang Li holds a B.Sc. from Shandong University in China. After acquiring a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2011, he continued his career as assistant professor in Shandong University, China; group leader and senior research scientist in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST); research scientist in New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Right now, he is affiliated professor at SAFIR Noval material research institute, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. He is also affiliated with New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). He is the co-founder and vice-president of Emirates Crystallographic Society (ECS). His research focuses on smart materials, adaptive and dynamic materials, maximum entropy method and structure-property relations of crystallized materials
