Muna Sahli is a Libyan academic and poet, she earned a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2007. She holds the position of Associate Professor of Literature and Literary Criticism in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at United Arab Emirates University. She has participated in numerous international conferences and academic programs, including the “Visiting Professors Program” in the Department of Comparative Literature at Harvard University in 2014. She has several published and forthcoming works in the fields of literary and cultural studies and creative writing. She is a member of the Arabic Language Academy in Libya and of several academic and cultural organizations.
