The Bridging Horizons Chair is the first Jean Monnet Chair in the Gulf Region, a milestone that reflects Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi’s excellence in teaching, research, and international engagement. Developed in partnership with the European Union, the Chair seeks to foster dialogue and cooperation between Europe and the UAE, focusing on trade, investment, sustainability, and diplomacy. Through interdisciplinary research, innovative teaching, and public engagement, it aims to build bridges that promote mutual understanding and sustainable development.
