Please join us for the opening of the art exhibition TASAAMU/TOLERANCE, the perpetual sense of tolerance and peace by international artist Maria Veronica Leon V.
The artist Maria Veronica Leon V. celebrates Tolerance in an exceptional way. Inspired by the greatest women and men leaders of Peace, the exhibition will focus on their mission for Tolerance and Peace around the World. It will also explore the historical approach of Tolerance and its multiple appropriations in different cultures and societies to our present day. Foregrounding the light of one of the greatest writers on Tolerance in History, the universal call for the understanding of this virtue, Voltaire and his prodigious “Treatise on Toleration”, this journey take us to our new generations, through the creation of a corpus of artworks in different medias: painting, drawing, collage, art video, installation and writing, inviting us to review, to analyze, to rise and to make possible this capital initiative in U.A.E. reinforcing the understanding between Western and Eastern World. A journey from 18 Century to our days…
