The first workshop of the IGCP-715 provided an introduction to the objectives of the project and engaged university students, caver, mountaineers and nature-lovers in continuous educational and research activities around the significance of the karst geology process in karstic water.
The workshop included fieldtrips to Crete in Greece, Jabal Hafit in UAE, Guangxi Zhuang karst in China, and Salma Plateau in Oman and consisted of various sessions.
