Bio
Juan Pablo Orjuela is a transport and environmental researcher whose work bridges mobility, health, and social justice. His research combines co-produced methodologies and transdisciplinary approaches to understand how mobility practices affect accessibility, air pollution exposure, and collective wellbeing—especially in Latin American contexts.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Research from Imperial College London and previously worked at the Clean Air Institute in Washington D.C. evaluating transport projects across Latin America. At Oxford’s Transport Studies Unit, he directs the Executive Education Programme and co-leads the transport module of the MSc in Sustainable Urban Development.
