I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. After four years of undergraduate studies in pure mathematics in Beirut, I pursued a Master 2 in applied algebra and cryptography at the University of Paris–Saclay. I then completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Algebra jointly at Sorbonne Université (IMJ-PRG) and Inria Paris, where my thesis focused on effective algorithms for computing the L∞-norm of finite-dimensional, time-invariant linear systems. My primary research interests include computer-algebra algorithms, effective real algebraic geometry, and algebraic aspects of automatic control; I also work on dynamical systems and symbolic AI
