Associate Professor (1988-1999) then Professor of Physics at Paris-Nord University – USPN since 1999.
Researcher at Laser Physics Laboratory, CNRS, since 1988 ; head of the lab from 2013 to 2018. Experimental research on laser cooling, atom interferometry and quantum gases.
Scientific advisor for Quantum Technologies at the Ministry for Higher Education and Research since 2020.
