Rahul Goswami is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, where he applies statistical machine‐learning methods to healthcare data, focusing on irregularity detection and specialised models to handle data irregularities. He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics and Computing from Banaras Hindu University and a B.Sc. in Statistics and Computer Science from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, is a student member of the Institute of Actuaries, India (IAI CT3), achieved GATE All India Rank 63 in Statistics, cleared IIT JAM in Mathematical Sciences, and completed a MicroMasters in Finance (online) from MIT. He has supported Advanced Statistical Algorithms and R Programming courses at IIT Guwahati as a teaching assistant and held professional roles, including Research Intern at Adobe, NLP Specialist at the Allen Institute for AI. Proficient in Python, R, and Julia, with expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‐learn, and Hugging Face Transformers, Rahul bridges theoretical innovation and practical implementation in healthcare research.
