Job Description

The Academic Division at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a part-time staff member to assist in the review of academic programs, policies and processes. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of tasks (such as those listed below) and is expected to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

Conditions

Short term contract (November – December 2025)

This position is offered on a part-time/short-term contract basis. The University will not provide visa sponsorship or medical insurance for this role. Candidates must already hold a valid UAE residence visa and maintain their own health insurance coverage throughout the contract period.

Key Accountability

Conduct comparative analyses of academic programs and governance structures in relevant disciplines and institutions to support SUAD’s academic development strategy and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Synthesize research on pedagogical best practices to inform teaching strategies and support continuous improvement in instructional design across the University.
Assist in the planning and organization of pedagogy-related events.
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive framework of skills and competencies that the University seeks to cultivate across its academic programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and industry expectations.

Qualification

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience and Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French proficiency is an advantage.
Strong research and analytical abilities, including:
- Synthesizing academic and policy literature
- Interpreting institutional data
