Bio

Zakiyya Adam is a transport researcher whose work bridges mobility, health, and urban sustainability. Her current research focuses on how the “X-Minute City” concept can be adapted to suburban and low-density European contexts through socially just and cycling-based urban development. Her work combines social practice theory, spatial justice, and applied mixed methods to advance real-world mobility transitions.
